In an unforgettable evening filled with glamour and entertainment, Cosmos Insurance honored its top partners for their outstanding achievements in 2023.
The award ceremony took place on Friday, September 20, at Lemon Park in Nicosia, with the dazzling Dimitra Makrygianni as the event’s host.
The evening kicked off with a welcoming speech from the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kyriakos Tyllis, who greeted the members of the Board of Directors and all attendees. He expressed his excitement for this grand night, which serves as an opportunity to recognize and honour the partners who work hard to achieve exceptional results.
He emphasized that the award ceremony is a tradition for the company, celebrating the successes of the insurance advisors and agents, who, by reaching the top, contribute to the continuous success and profitability of the company. This, in turn, strengthens the already dynamic presence of Kosmos Insurance in Cyprus’s insurance industry.
Mr. Tyllis highlighted last year’s results, stating that 2023 was an excellent year for Cosmos Insurance, with revenue exceeding 20 million euros, pre-tax profits of 2 million euros, and a 27-point increase in the solvency ratio, bringing it to 162% by the end of the year!
However, he continued, the successes do not stop there, as 2024 has also been a productive year for Cosmos Insurance, with the company recording profits of over 1.5 million euros in the first half of 2024, and the solvency ratio reaching 185%.
Mr. Tyllis stressed that these results would not have been possible without the contribution of the company’s insurance agents and staff, acknowledging the value of their loyalty and dedication to both the insurance sector and the company itself.
He expressed his pride in seeing his partners achieve the goals they set, making success the result of a collective effort.
Mr. Tyllis concluded his speech with an optimistic message, saying, “The future holds new challenges, but even greater opportunities to exceed the goals we set!” He then officially opened the curtain for the year’s award ceremony!
The large number of awardees in the various categories kept the attendees’ interest high. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of the company’s executives who completed 10 years of collaboration with Cosmos Insurance, achieving impressive results.
The evening continued with food and drinks, accompanied by a performance from the well-known Cypriot singer Giorgos Stamataris.
